RCB 2020: 2 overseas players RCB are targeting for the auction

RCB is likely to release these foreign players:

1. Colin De Grandhomme

2. Tim Southee

3. Heinrich Klaasen

4. Shimron Hetmyer

To replace these 3 players RCB management is scouting some quality players from all around the globe.

First and foremost, RCB need a gun bowler who can lead their bowling lineup. We saw different bowling attitude from RCB when Steyn joined the team in mid season. After his departure, the bowling unit was poor again.

There is no leader in the bowling unit in that dressing room. Thus, Mike Hesson ( Director of Cricket operations) ,who is responsible for scouting and auction buys, is targeting:

1. Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc is the world’s best bowler alongside Bumrah. The presence of Starc will lift the attitude of other bowlers of RCB and maybe Coulter Nile will play in the playing XI alongside Starc.

The duo of Coulter Nile and Starc will make RCB’s bowling lineup fearsome for other teams.

Finally, they will have someone to look for when they score around 150-160. They will have hope of defending low scores as well with the presence of these duo.

2. Glenn Maxwell

Mike Hesson seem to like Glenn Maxwell because of his capability to turn the match around single handedly. If RCB wish to buy him then they will have to release Shimron Hetmyer as well.

Maxwell provides bowling as well as exceptional fielding, which has been RCB’s another weakness last year.

He best fits in the #5 position in RCB lineup and he can display magic from there.

Imagine VK, AB, Maxi, Starc in the same team.

We will see a different RCB if they buy these players.
