Vivo IPL 2019: One player from CSK and RCB each to watch out for

Hello guys. The most awaited cricketing tournament is only two days away from us. So today, we are going to talk about one player from each RCB and CSK team who will have the key role in their team’s success. These players that I am going to talk about are not the IPL superstar like Kohli,Dhoni, AB etc but about those players who must perform well if their team want to taste the IPL trophy in 2019.

Are you excited then? Here comes the list:

Chennai Super Kings

  • KM Asif

In my opinion , he will be playing in almost every match of CSK. You might already know that CSK’s prime death bowler Lungi Ngidi has been ruled out of the IPL due to an injury. This has hurted CSK severly than ever before. They now have only DJ Bravo to bowl in death over who is not in a good form right now. So KM Asif has to show some potential to rescue his team from this disaster. You may wonder there is Mohit Sharma in the team who can bowl at death but you must know that a team’s playing XI must have at least one uncapped player. Their other 10 players are fixed but one position is vacant where they must play an uncapped player. Dhruv Shorey(batsman) was the contender for that role but since Ngidi is injured, they must have to address their bowling issue. Also their batting looks balanced with kedar Jadhav back in the team. If KM Asif fails to give tight four overs for CSK then they might have to look out for other option which aren’t easily available.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

  • Shivam Dube

RCB invested a hefty price of INR 5cr on this young lad in IPL 2019 auction to solve one of their major issue: Finshing.

RCB has always been a team with top heavy side and a weak finishers. Last year, Sarfaraz was expected to do the role of finishing but he failed miserably which is why he has been released from the team. RCB has a lot of expectations from Shivam Dubey because there is no any indian Finisher in the team. So he must have to show his calibre like he did in Mumbai T20 league and in Ranji Trophy 2018/19. If in any case, he fails like Sarfaraz khan then I bet you that RCB will again be scratching their head after the end of the IPL. Ashish Nehra has already told him his role in the team that he is coming to bat at #6 or #7. This clearly indicates that he will be expected to finish the innings well for RCB and help the team to clinche some close encounters. If he seem to be in great touch then RCB can afford to play both Southee and Coulter Nile in playing XI only if their bowling seem too weak.

What do you think? Will they be the X-factor to their team and live up to the expectations?
